It is understandable that some people want the security blanket of urbanisations and the like where most of the residents are British and English is the predominantly spoken language. However, whether you are looking to relocate or want to have a bolthole in a traditional or authentic Spanish town or village, considering going a little inland is an excellent idea. Properties inland are cheaper and the lifestyle is more relaxed. Being away from the coast doesn’t necessarily mean having to compromise on amenities or home comforts. (Unless you want complete isolation) Most people visiting the inland towns for the first time are very pleasantly surprised at the level of infrastructure, the cleanliness, safety and the friendliness of the local people. Granted, it does help if you speak a little Spanish, but if you don’t, there are local teachers to help you learn and it can be a fun and rewarding experience. You get to see the true way of life, you are actively encouraged to participate in local fiestas and events and you get the opportunity to make true friends for life. Spanish people are incredibly patient if you make the effort with them.
Most of our properties are within a 30 minute drive to the blue flag beaches and Alicante airport, so we’re not “out in the sticks.” In fact, living inland gives you the best of both worlds. You are never far away from the coast, but you don’t get caught up in the touristy
lifestyle that can be stressful on a day to day basis.
We offer a full aftercare service, tailored to each of our client’s needs.
